We got a puppy!

Jonno and I got a puppy last Monday! She's an 11 week old Rhodesian Ridgeback we named Didge! She is the sweetest puppy. But our poor cat Zim isn't too keen on having a new house guest! Hopefully they'll learn to be the best of friends!

New DIY Kids Range Preview

Over the weekend we were very busy photographing our new DIY kids party range! We're very excited to give you a sneak peek of a couple of items that will be on sale in our Etsy Shop Orchard & Brown over the next week or so! I stumbled apon this on the dieline blog and my first thoughts were “that is really cool!” I love the style of illustration on the bottle. It’s Sweden’s first vodka in a PET bottle and is organically grown.

I Do Wedding Veils

Dannielle and I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah from I Do Wedding Veils on the weekend. It was great meeting a fellow Etsy seller and being able to share stories and advice about our businesses.

My Wedding - Viva Las Vegas!

Jonno and I were married in May at the Valley of Fire in Nevada, USA. The scenery was spectacular and we were lucky enough to have most of our closest friends and family there to share it with us! We also had some photos taken amongst all the old neon signs of Vegas before the wedding at the Boneyard at the Neon museum in Las Vegas. I wore my mother's wedding dress from 1980, I always loved the dress - as a child I would dress up in it! Here are a few of my fave photos from our wedding...

Material Girl

Today I love Aussie online store Materialistic! Australian designer Angie McCarthy creates original hand screen printed pieces for the home in bright graphic colours. I own a couple of her tea towels (that I have been meaning to frame and hang in my kitchen) including the "housework sucks" design! Her designs are fun and playful, make sure you check out her shop Materialistic - you won't leave empty handed!

We have a new website!

We're ultra excited to announce that after many months and late nights we have a brand spanking new website!!! We designed it ourselves and the talented Dannielle (the other half of O&B) put it all together for us. It's time to decorate!

I've been looking for items to buy for our house with money we received from our wedding. I'm thinking of going for a natural look, incorporating blues, cream and browns. Here are some items that I'm loving at the moment!

I'm pretty excited about our new DIY wedding templates! At the moment we have 2 available to purchase - a Perfect Match Matchbox Template and a Sweets Favor Bag Label Template which both co-ordinate with our xox collection. We'll be working on getting more of them listed in our shop to match our other designs so stay tuned for more DIY fun!

Sneak preview of our new wedding invitation designs

I have been working on some new wedding invitation designs since I got back from my holiday so I thought I'd post a sneak peek of the designs! It's been a while...

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on my blog. A lot has happened since my last post in March. I quit my job, went overseas for 3 weeks and got married in Vegas! We just got back yesterday and boy does jet lag suck! I’ve been awake since 4 o’clock this morning! Had an awesome time in Vegas and NYC but it’s nice to be home again. I have loads of photos to sort through and waiting for the wedding pics to arrive from the USA. I’ll be posting some photos to show you soon so stay tuned!

Tara & Ryan: Custom Wedding Invitations

Here is a new custom design for Tara and Ryan that Dannielle did for one of our clients. It's a booklet style invitation with lined envelopes and matching address labels. Dannielle also did their save the dates a little while ago.

Custom Wedding Invitations - Candice and Glenn

Hello again! Sorry I haven't posted anything on my blog for a while - been super busy. Since I've been away I've finished a custom wedding invitation design for Candice that included the design of her invitations, rsvp cards, map, accommodation information card and envelope lining. It was a fun invitation set to illustrate and design so I thought I'd share it with you :)
